Biden to Expand Medicaid, Reopen Health Insurance Marketplaces

President Joe Biden is expected to sign orders to add more people to Medicaid and re-open Affordable Care Act marketplaces to Americans who need insurance during the pandemic on Thursday, amid new variants of COVID-19 rapidly spreading across the country. Vaccine distribution remains slow – only one in 16 people have received both shots so far.
