NYPD officer and suspect shot in Far Rockaway: Police

An NYPD officer is in critical condition after being shot in Queens. According to law enforcement sources, police pulled over a car along Mott Avenue when a man inside opened fire, striking the officer in the abdomen. Sources say the officer returned fire, hitting the suspect in the back.
