NJ Transit approves 15% fare hike: What riders need to know

If it already seems like everything costs more these days, get ready to add public transit to the list. The new fare hike, the first of its kind for NJ Transit in nearly a decade, takes effect July 1, followed by a 3% annual increase starting in July of next year.
