New York Liberty Bell Moves to New Home After Fire

The bell, cast in 1731 and actually pre-dates Philadelphia’s Liberty Bell, was saved from the ruins of the inferno that gutted the century-old Middle Collegiate Church in the East Village, and will now be held at the NY Historical Society. NBC New York’s Erica Byfield reports.
