World's Tallest Bonfire Set Ablaze

The world’s tallest bonfire was set ablaze this weekend in a town on the west coast of Norway. Spectators gathered on the water and on shore to watch the spectacle. At 156 feet tall, the wooden tower was built on an artificial island and lit around dusk. It’s known as the St. John’s Eve Bonfire in Norway. They set a record this year as the world’s tallest. The tower beat the previous record-holder by 14 feet.
