Watch Musher Make History Crossing Iditarod Finish Line

The most famous sled dog race on snow wrapped up Tuesday in Nome, Alaska, with Mitch Seavey crossing the finish line first. It was his third Iditarod win, beating out his own son Dallas, who was the defending champ. At 57 years of age, Seavey became the oldest winner in the history of the race, which first started in 1973. Seavey also set a record time of eight days, three hours, 40 minutes and 13 seconds — several hours faster that the record his son set last year.
