Navy Officer Continues Fight for Transgender Military Rights

Navy officer Blake Dremann made history in 2016 when he became the first openly transgender member of the armed services to be promoted. Today, Dremann continues to be a fierce advocate and mentor for LGBTQ troops in a political climate fraught with challenges to queer service members, due to the Trump administration’s attempts to implement a ban on transgender people in the military.
