Superintendent Who Used Insurance to Help Sick Student Resigns

Casey Smitherman, the Indiana superintendent who was arrested and charged with fraud after presenting a sick student as her son at a clinic for medical treatment, resigned. Elwood community residents said they were happy to see her go.
