Tips of the Trade: Inside the House of Windsor Showhouse

Designers Windsor Smith, Peter Dunham, Candace Barnes, and Martyn Lawrence-Bullard take us through Veranda Magazine’s House of Windsor, a showcase home that reveals chic design ideas for effortless luxury living for the modern family. As the concept designer and chief curator Windsor Smith shows what she calls “the new living room” aka the kitchen where mixing metals, stone, and wood makes things stylishly comfortable. Peter Dunham shows us his guest suite where he highlights the architectural elements in the space and uses pinks, neutrals, textiles, and a beautiful leopard print which help make his accessories pop and bring a sense of glamour into the space. San Francisco-based designer Candace Barnes reveals how she used reflective features, art, and nature to bring a sense of spirituality into her master suite. And Martyn Lawrence-Bullard (of Bravo’s “Million Dollar Decorator”) closes it off in his man cave (the screening room) where he has a little fun with color and funky patterns in the fabrics and furniture. The House of Windsor located in the exclusive community of Brentwood 90049 is currently for sale.
