Officer Rescues Small Dog From Lagoon

A Wisconsin police officer wades into water to rescue a small dog. It happened Wednesday in a lagoon in the city of Milwaukee. Officials say the dog either jumped or fell into the lagoon then swam into the middle of the body of water. The officers could see the animal was starting to struggle in the thick weeds and muck. That’s when Officer Joe Spingola decided to wade in to rescue the dog. He eventually reached the small animal and pulled him to safety.
