NSA responds to reports of national security threat: ‘We can and will and are protecting the national security of the United States'

After House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner, R-Ohio, publicized a “serious” national security threat against the U.S., national security adviser Jake Sullivan addressed reporter questions Wednesday to try to assuage any public concern. “I am confident that President Biden, in the decisions that he is taking, is going to ensure the security of the American people going forward,” Sullivan said from the White House. “And I will stand here at this podium and assert … that we believe that we can and will and are protecting the national security of the United States and the American people.”
