Man Drills Holes in Gas Tanks to Steal Gas

Police in Western Canada are looking for a creative thief… armed with an electric drill. He’s been going around Edmonton….. stealing gasoline right out of people’s gas tanks. You can see a man get out of a running vehicle and walk to the driver’s side of a neighboring car. Next, he gets down on the ground. At this point, police say the man is drilling holes into that vehicle’s gas tank… and allowing the fuel to drip down into a jug or bucket of somesort. Police say the man waits for the tank to empty and then walks around to the neighboring vehicle to retrieve his jug. We then see him pour the gas from the jug into his minivan and drive away. Police say this has happened at least 18 times in the area. Authorities say the lost fuel is nothing compared to the thousands of dollars in damage being caused.
