JetBlue Pilot Forced Woman to Change Clothes

A Seattle woman was stopped from boarding a JetBlue flight after the pilot deemed her shorts inappropriate. In a statement to NBC, the airline said it offered the passenger the option to change clothes, at which point the customer bought new clothing at the airport. “We support our crewmembers’ discretion to make these difficult decisions, and we decided to reimburse the customer for the cost of the new shorts and offered a credit for future flight as a good will gesture,” a spokesperson for the airline said.
