Cool Video of Hawaiian Volcano Lava Lake

This is a rare look at a powerful summit eruption of Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano on the Big Island. The U.S. Geological Survey released the video today — showing molten lava splashing up the crater walls of the lava lake. A producer for the U.S.G.S. was able to capture this video from the edge of the volcano’s massive summit crater.
