Long-Lasting Fire Destroys Waste Facility Near Long Island Rail Road

The large fire shut down three branches of the LIRR, and was still causing delays nearly 20 hours after the fire initially broke out. A cause of the fire was not clear, and may never be known due to the extensive damage. NBC New York’s Greg Cergol reports.
