Woman Charged in NJ Man's Death From Botched Penis Injection

Victim died of a silicone embolism the day after the procedure, medical examiner says

A New Jersey woman faces manslaughter charges for performing a penis-enlarging procedure that proved fatal.

Kasia Rivera, 34, injected silicone into the penis of Justin Street, 22, at her East Orange home, Essex County prosecutors said. Street died from a silicone embolism one day after the procedure, the medical examiner said. The death was ruled a homicide.

Authorities arrested Rivera after an investigation and set bail at $75,000, the Essex County Prosecutor's office said in a press release. In addition to manslaughter, Rivera was also charged with unauthorized practice of medicine.

Police are continuing their investigation and asking other potential victims to step forward.
