Woman Fired From Veterinary Office Breaks in Week Later, Steals Money

A 33-year-old Long Island woman who was fired from a veterinary group a week ago was arrested for allegedly breaking into her old office building and stealing money, authorities said.

Taylor Vigliotti, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested Sunday, a day after she allegedly used an old key she had kept to break into the office and steal cash from a desk drawer and money from a safe.

The owner of the veterinary office saw her on surveillance video the following morning and called police.

Vigliotti was charged with burglary. Information on an attorney for her wasn't immediately available, and it wasn't clear why she was fired.
