You can make an excuse for desserts for nearly any occasion. But did you know you can get some of the country’s best cupcakes right here in the tri-state?
According to the Daily Meal’s “Best Cupcakes in Every State” list, New Jersey’s Pink Cake Box in Denville cracks one of the top spots. With unique flavors such as pink Champagne, pumpkin or hazelnut Frangelico, The Daily Meal points out the bakeshop’s specialty experience that is hard to find anywhere else in the nation.
For New Yorkers, Billy’s Bakery wins the honor for the Empire State and it’s right here in New York City. The Daily Meal reports the 1940-styled bakeshop was founded in 2003 by two college buddies and highlights the banana Nutella cupcake along with the carrot cupcake, which is a seasonal but classic favorite for all.
