A video of a paralyzed bunny scooting around in a homemade wheelchair on an upstate New York farm has stolen the hearts of millions.

The baby rabbit, now named Wheels, was found lying in a pen outside on the property of Overlook Acres in Amsterdam, about 30 miles northwest of Albany. Farm owner Jason Ambrosino said one of the older, more aggressive rabbits may have bitten the bunny.

"When he was brought inside, we checked his backside and noticed there were a couple puncture wounds back there," Amobrosino explained in a YouTube video. "They were cleaned up, and ever since then, he's been pulling himself around on the homemade wheelchair."

The wheelchair is made of a $1 skateboard toy and a mini sock.

Overlook Acres raises bunnies in what is called a commune environment, the most natural environment for the animals, which allows them to dig around and socialize with other bunnies.

The farm has started a Kickstarter page in hopes of creating a children's book from Wheels' story and using funds to support its mission of sustainable agriculture and self-reliance.
