Charges have been dropped against the Brooklyn man accused of being the "well-dressed groper" in a series of touching incidents.

Karl Vanderwoude, 26, told NBC 4 New York outside court on Monday that the case of mistaken identity had completely changed his life.

"After today I'm just planning to get back to normal," he said.

Vanderwoude was arrested at his Park Slope home April 13 after someone called police to say he appeared to be the suspect in surveillance images released by detectives. He was then picked out of a lineup by an alleged victim.

But in interview with NBC 4 New York on April 23, Vanderwoude insisted police had the wrong man, and his alibi later proved that true, his lawyer said.

Vanderwoude's attorney said security video from his workplace shows he was at his job during one of the alleged groping incidents.

Vanderwoude also said he was out to dinner with a co-worker during another alleged incident.
