Thieves Dressed as NYCHA Workers Steal Thousands

The thieves stole $2,500 from an East Village apartment while possibly wearing NYCHA uniforms, according to police. No one inside the apartment was hurt, and police are investigating the possibility the suspects were dressed as NYCHA employees. NBC 4 New York’s Ray Villeda reports.
