Police say a man broke into the basement of a Bronx apartment building earlier this month and stole two toy race cars, a milk shake machine and a chocolate fondue machine.

A man broke into the basement of a Bronx apartment building earlier this month and made off with a rather odd haul -- two toy race cars, a milk shake machine and a chocolate fondue machine, authorities say. 

Cops say the suspect broke into the Walton Avenue complex late on May 11. Surveillance video shows him scaling the side of the building under the cover of night, and later walking away with a bag.

Police say he got into the basement through a window. No injuries were reported.
