WATCH: Truck Stuck in Snow Prompts Taxi Sidewalk Drive

NBC 4 New York viewer Garrett Morton shot this video of a taxi driving up onto the sidewalk near 56th Street and 10th Avenue during the storm Tuesday. A truck had gotten stuck in the snow and was blocking the street, so the taxi and some other cars began driving up onto the sidewalk to go around it. The Taxi and Limousine Commission called the driver’s actions “dangerous and unacceptable” and that it will “make every effort to identify this individual and take the appropriate actions.” A message was left with the NYPD.
