Suspect Sought in Bank Robbery on Long Island

Police are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred Sunday afternoon on Long Island.

A surveillance camera captured images of the man as he demands cash from a teller at about 1 p.m. at the Capitol One Bank on Middle Neck Road in the Village of Great Neck Plaza.

The man made off with an undisclosed amount of money and fled in a blue or black BMW, Nassau County police said.

The five employees and one customer in the bank were unharmed during the robbery, investigators said.
