1 Slashed in Face, 1 Beaten in Subway Attack: Police

Police are looking for six suspects who allegedly attacked two men after an argument on a Manhattan subway early Sunday.

A 20-year-old man was slashed in the face and a 23-year-old man he was traveling with was punched and kicked after they got into an argument with a group on an Upper East Side subway early Sunday, authorities said.

Authorities say the two men started arguing with a group of two male and three female suspects on a northbound No. 4 train approaching East 96th Street around 3:30 a.m.

The suspects then attacked the men, slashing one in the face and punching and kicking the other repeatedly, police said. Both victims were taken to the hospital, where the man cut in the face received numerous stitches.
The other victim refused medical attention.

Authorities released surveillance video of the suspects on the train (above).
