State Republicans Sign On to Koch's Pledge

Former mayor's shame program starting to work.

Last night we told you about how former mayor Ed Koch is trying to shame Albany politicians into signing a pledge to vote for a series of specific reforms.

Tonight all 29 Republican members of the New York State Senate have signed that pledge.

Koch has given Albany lawmakers until midnight Wednesday tonight before they're declared either heroes or enemies of reform.

So far the Democratic leaders in the Senate and Assembly have not signed the pledge.
