Lace Up! Iconic Skating Rink at Rockefeller Center Open for Season
Dust off those skates and dig out your hat and gloves.
The famed skating rink in front of the building that houses NBC 4 New York's studios is open for the season.
Figure skater and Olympic silver medalist Sasha Cohen cut the ribbon for the rink on Tuesday as it opened for its 80th season and harkened the beginning of the winter season in New York City.
The Rink at Rockefeller Center first opened on Christmas Day in 1936.
