A New Jersey man on lifetime parole supervision has admitted he tried to lure children into his pickup truck for the purpose of committing a crime.
Thirty-year-old Nicholas Ravaioli of Jackson pleaded guilty to two counts of child luring.
The plea stems from charges involving five juveniles in Lakewood, who ranged in age from 10- to 15-years-old. Ravaioli admitted approaching the children, making inappropriate comments and trying to lure them into his vehicle in 2013.
Ravaioli was on lifetime parole supervision because of a 2006 luring conviction.
Prosecutors will seek a 9-year prison term when Ravaioli is sentenced later this year.
