Queens Family Rallies to Save Pet Pig

A Queens family is fighting to keep Petey, a pet pig that the Forgiones say reduces stress and anxiety. The health department has told the Forgione family that the 39-pound pig is not legal to keep as a pet and that they must dispose of the animal. But the Forgiones aren’t giving up on Petey yet. New York State Sen. Tony Avella joined the Forgiones at a rally Tuesday to try to get the city to reconsider the law. Sheldon Dutes reports.
