Positively Black: “The Kid” by Sapphire

The woman who brought the character Precious to life in the hit novel “Push” has now written a sequel, “The Kid.” The book chronicles the challenges faced by Precious’s young son. Our Tracie Strahan sat down with author Sapphire to talk about the book and her thoughts on the movie “Precious” in this edition of Positively Black.
