Officers found the victims in the parking lot and inside the club on Main Street, Paterson police said.

A man who was in the club when the gunfire erupted spoke to NBC 4 New York, but didn't want his name used for fear of his safety.

"Just started shooting up the whole club just like that," the man recalled. He said more than 80 people were inside when the shots rang out.

"I heard the shots, I knew it wasn't firecrackers," he said.

Surveillance video shows people running out of the club.
