One NJ City Thinks It Can Top NYC's Fourth of July

While it may not be the traditional go-to spot for July 4th celebrations and gets overshadowed by its neighbor to the east, Jersey City is trying to steal a little of NYC’s thunder by bringing in some top performers like Pitbull and Akon — and the biggest fireworks show in the state.
