Suspect in Deadly Midtown Stabbing Turns Himself in: Police

The suspect turned himself in early Wednesday at the same station where the stabbed victim had sought help earlier this week

The NYPD wants to speak to a man seen on surveillance video near where a 66-year-old man was stabbed multiple times before he walked into a police station and died Monday night.

A man who police had sought in connection with a deadly stabbing in Manhattan turned himself in early Wednesday at the very same NYPD station house where his alleged victim went looking for help two days earlier, authorities said.

The suspect walked into the Midtown South precinct station house around 1 a.m., according to police, who said he is the suspect seen in surveillance video released Tuesday.

On Monday night, a 66-year-old man who had been stabbed multiple times walked into the same station house looking for help. He later died at Bellevue Hospital.

Police believe the man knew his attacker.

The names of the suspect and the victim have not been released.
