A man tried to sell another man a bracelet in Bedford-Stuyvesant before robbing and assaulting him, police said.
The alleged robber approached the victim on the evening of Dec. 13 and offered to sell him a bracelet.
After the victim declined the offer, the suspect forced him into a building at the Eleanor Roosevelt houses and assaulted him before stealing his cell phone, police said.
The suspect, who is believed to be in his late 20s, then took off on foot, according to police.
