Port Authority Police to Conduct Drill at Newark Airport

The drill won't affect flight operations

The Port Authority says police will be conducting a drill at Newark International Airport Saturday morning.

The emergency response exercise, taking place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the AirTrain P1 station, will allow Port Authority police and other agency personnel and emergency responders to test and enhance response procedures.

The drill won't affect flight operations, the Port Authority says. The P1 station will be the only AirTran station with service interruption until 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3.
