Robber Shoots NYC Livery Cab Driver Over $23: Cops

The NYPD is looking for a man it says robbed and shot a livery cab driver in the Bronx over the weekend all for less than $25. Tracie Strahan reports.

A New York City livery cab driver was shot in the Bronx over the weekend all for less than $25, the NYPD says. 

According to police, a gunman shot 26-year-old Jeffrey Camacho, a father of three, several times on Morrison Avenue in Soundview around 12:45 Saturday morning.

The 20-something-year-old suspect stole $23 from the car before taking off. He is seen on survillance footage released by the NYPD wearing all black and blue shoes.

Camacho was taken to Jacobi Hospital, where he is in critical condition. He said he had picked up the suspect flagged him down on Fish Avenue, but when he tried to drop him off the suspect pulled the trigger.
