A woman caught on surveillance video stealing a purse from a customer's cart inside a New Jersey supermarket is being sought by police.
The purse was snatched inside the Shop-Rite at 744 Route 70 in Brick Township on Sunday, according to police. Video shows the victim turning away from her cart briefly to inspect meat; the thief, carrying a shopping basket, swoops in and snatches the white purse from the victim's cart.
Police are searching for the thief and three other people who may be connected to the crime, as well as a black vehicle in which the group of four people were seen leaving together.
