EXCLUSIVE: NYC Builds First Roundabout

Under its Vision Zero crackdown, the city has lowered the speed limit and ticketed more drivers. But at one intersection where more than 100 pedestrians were hit in a four-year span, the deadly danger continued — so now officials are trying something you’ve never seen before in the five boroughs. This is the first roundabout because, unlike other traffic circles in the city, this one has no signals, only signs. Andrew Siff reports.
