A man was slashed in Lower Manhattan early Thursday morning after the person he was arguing with became extremely angry, police said.
The 28-year old victim was engaged in a disagreement with the suspect in front of a deli near Stanton Street at around 6:30 a.m. Thursday morning, authorities said. During the dispute, the suspect became irate and produced a sharp cutting object before slashing the victim.
Police said the victim suffered a wound to his left forrearm and was taken to Beth Israel Hospital in stable condition.
