Long Island Police Cracking Down On Intoxicated Boaters

As the summer boating season arrives across Long Island Sound and its southern shores, officials are focusing on the dangerous link between alcohol and death on the water. It’s estimated that 1 in 5 boating fatalities are linked to alcohol. The Suffolk County Police Department announced a new plan they hope will bring that number dramatically down. Marc Santia reports.
