1. Kick Off Halloween This Weekend With Brooklyn Horror Film Festival

Halloween is definitely getting closer so it's time to check out some scary movies. 

The Brooklyn Horror Film Festival is slashing through this weekend. A bunch of of Indie and international flicks will be shown at theaters across the borough, including a couple of few premieres.

2. Creep Out the Gram With Haunted Houses at Dream Machine

If haunted houses are more your speed, we've got one that will horrify your followers on the gram. 

Dream Machine in Brooklyn has morphed into nightmare machine for the season and it's seriously spooky, but in a different way. 

It'll have the pop-up feel, so don't expect to be chased by monsters, but the experience will give you the creeps.

3. Celebrate Pickle Day Sunday in NYC

You already know New York City has a pretty strong pickle game, so why not spend a whole day celebrating their awesomeness? 

Sunday is pickle day on the Lower East Side and there is going to be tons of ways to enjoy everybody's favorite sandwich topper.
