Progress on Homeless Student Busing

The I-Team first exposed the city’s failure to get thousands of homeless children to school on the opening day of school. City officials said they were working to fix the problem; the Department of Education said late Tuesday 1,700 kids had turned down buses, but didn’t say how many actually had buses as promised that day.
