Prosecutors say a Long Island man has admitted to his role in a high-tech burglary crew that stole $10 million in cash and goods from homes and businesses.
Nikitas Margiellos, of West Babylon, pleaded guilty Monday to burglary and grand larceny in connection with a residential burglary in 2009.
He also pleaded guilty to burglary and possession of burglar's tools for his involvement in two commercial burglaries in 2012.
Prosecutors say the defendant played a leading role in a crew that stole cash and property from 51 residences and businesses in Nassau and Suffolk counties and one in Westchester.
Margiellos was arrested with two co-defendants in January.
The other cases are pending.
Information on Margiellos' attorney wasn't immediately available.
