Gunshots Fired at NJ Transit Station, No One Hurt: Officials

Gunshots were fired at a New Jersey Transit station but no one appears to have been hit, authorities say. 

NJ Transit spokeswoman Lisa Torbic said police responded to a call for gunshots fired at the Elizabeth train station shortly after 3 p.m. 

Shell casings were found at the scene, but there was was no shooter found, Torbic said. No one was injured.

Elizabeth and NJ Transit police were investigating.
