A group of people assaulted a woman, including with a large pumpkin, during an unprovoked attack in Brooklyn the weekend before Halloween, police said.
The group of 13 men and women approached a 21-year-old woman last Saturday at State Street and Henry Street in Brooklyn Heights and threw a liquid in her face, according to police.
Then they allegedly put a box on her head and threw a large pumpkin at her. Police said the gourd struck her back.
She was not seriously injured and was not taken to a hospital.
Police released surveillance video of the suspects on Saturday.
