Groundbreaking on Skyscraper That Will Dwarf the Empire State Building

Developer SL Green broke ground on the skyscraper One Vanderbilt Avenue in midtown, which will tower over Grand Central Terminal and drawrf the Empire State Building when it’s completed. It will be the city’s second-tallest tower, featuring the city’s largest floor-to-ceiling windows enclosing 1.6 million square feet of office space.
