Adorable Baby Titi Monkey is Latest Addition to Bronx Zoo

Bronx Zoo visitors will now be able to gaze at a newborn Bolivian Gray Titi monkey -- the zoo’s latest addition.

The monkey, born in April, will join the family of titis in a mixed-species exhibit in the zoo’s “World of Birds” exhibit.

The species of monkey is indigenous to Bolivia and Brazil, the zoo’s Wildlife Conservation Society said in a statement. They survive on a diet of fruits leaves and insects.

The habitat the monkey will live in at the zoo is based on the South American rainforest, the  Wildlife Conservation Society said.

The exhibit is also home to golden lion tamarins, and other birds that typically feed on fruit dropped by primates.
