Artist Fights to Stay in East Village Apartment

Taylor Mead, who was a longtime friend of Andy Warhol, is an artist, writer, and actor. He’s also a participant in a fight to stay in his $380-a-month rent-controlled apartment, even as the rest of his building is being converted into market-rate apartments. Lori Bordonaro reports.
