Fight for Equal Pay for Women Soccer Players

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy, who is the majority owner of a professional women’s soccer team in the state, is joining the fight to get women equal pay as their male counterparts in the MLS. The success of the U.S. Women’s National Team highlighted the issue, with an “Equal pay” chant breaking out after the team won the World Cup. NBC 4 New York’s Brian Thompson reports.
