Husband Shoots Wife, Kills Self in New Jersey Home: Prosecutor

Police found two people dead in a multi-family home on Summit Avenue in Jersey City sometime before 7 a.m., according to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez

A devastating scene on a quiet Jersey City block where families and friends wept for the victims of a possible murder-suicide. Police say they found a married couple dead inside their home and a weapon at the scene. Tracie Strahan reports.

A 54-year-old man killed his wife before shooting himself in their Jersey City home early Tuesday, prosecutors say. 

Police found the bodies of Raymond and Monica Haddad, 44, in the couple's multi-family home on Summit Avenue shortly before 7 a.m., according to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez.

A weapon was recovered at the scene.

Chopper 4 footage from above the home showed police talking to several people in the alleyway between two apartment buildings.
